Set up in November 2003, Apex Construction Ltd continues to build on its success in the Industry. During 2006, we achieved both ISO 9001:2000 and Investors in People, and have been accepted onto Achilles pre-qualification scheme for suppliers, Verify Category B1 (self-supervising), for the Utilities Industry. We have carried out several large and prestigious contracts across the UK, some of which can be seen in the Gallery section of this site. We are also member of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association - www.ceca.co.uk.

We now have the foundations of the business in place and are ready to move forward, with a well trained and experienced workforce, and a selection of sub-contractors with whom we work closely, we offer a service second to none, and continue to provide a good, all round, cost-effective and efficient service, whilst ensuring a safe working environment for all concerned. We endeavour to cause as little disruption to the clients business as possible, and are aware of the importance of client/contractor communication and co-ordination, particularly where there is an interface between our works and the clients’.

In the past twelve months we have added a Building Division to the organisation, and are now able to offer a wide range of building services, both commercial and residential, including heritage works, conversions and new build projects.

Some of the projects we have undertaken over the past two years are the upgrading of moorings, including the construction of their prestigious Platinum Moorings, at Sawley Marina, Nottingham, for British Waterways Marinas Ltd - www.bwml.co.uk - and various works to an Ornamental Lake at a Private residence in Leicestershire. Photographs and details of both of these can be seen in our Gallery section. In addition, we are experienced in the renovation and rebuilding of Brick Arch Bridges over the canals and waterways of England, adding another two to our list in 2006. Both of these involved the use of traditional materials such as lime mortar and render. We have the experience to carry out works using water borne plant and equipment, along with any other awkward and difficult projects often found daunting to many other contractors.

Our aim is to increase our Market Share year-on-year within both the public and private sectors, and our mission is to provide a high quality, efficient service culminating in an end product second to none, in an increasingly diverse and specialised construction and building environment.
